摘    要:学生沟通能力的培养为医学院校所重视.大学英语要满足学生语言能力发展的需要,也要为他们未来职业发展服务.医学院校英语教学改革中,应把培养学生的沟通能力和人文素养融入到教学中,使英语课与学生专业学习相结合.文章以《新视野大学英语》第三册《graceful hand》为例,论述了如何剖析作品,让学生从医学人文角度欣赏优美的文笔和深刻的意境,学习如何与人交流,培养学生的人文素养和沟通能力.

Abstract:Medical colleges have attached importance to students" ability of communication. College English teaching should meet the needs of students'language and future career development. Teaching reform should integrate cultivating students communieation skills and cultural literacy to combine English classes with students" professional learning. Taking "Graceful Hand" in Horizon College English as an example, this paper discusses how to parse the works and enable students to appreciate the exquisite writing style and pro- found mood from the view point of medical humanities, and learn how to communicate, so that students'humanistic spirit and communi- cation skills can be fostered.
