Screening analysis of human papillomavirus in 1069 patients

Objective To discuss the human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in outpatient women in Y abei region of Beijing.Methods A cluster sampling prevalence analyses were performed during Oct 2010 to Sep 2011 among 1069 women attending gynecological outpatient clinic.Epithelial cell samples were obtained for subtype screening by HybriMax,and positive results were statistical analyzed.Results 311 cases was positive and the positive rate was 29.09％(311/1069).20 subtypes were detected totally,of which HPV-16 was the most common type,followed by HPV-52,HPV-58 and HPV-53.The high-risk HPV subtype infection accounted for 91.64％ (285/311),low-risk 8.36％ (26/311); single HPV infection accounted for 91.96％ (286/311),multiplex infection 8.04％(25/311).The peak age of them was 20-24 years old,and the positive rate was 43.15％.There were significant differences about the HPV-positive rate among each age groups( x2 ＝ 28.05,P ＜ 0.01 ).The high-risk subtype infection rate was higher in 45 year and older (97.30％,72/74) than those in below 45 years old (87.87％,213/237) ( x2 =21.00,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The rate of HPV infection in Yabei region of Beijing is high,and the subtype is characterized by high-risk HPV.
