| Abstract: | Tyrosine kinase pathways play a significant role in gastric tumor formation and development.This review is to summarize the achievements from basic research on c-met and c-src in gastric carcinoma oncogenesis,preliminary results for gastric cancer therapy with tyrosine kinase inhibition and the underlying mechanisms for drug resistance.Targeting the molecules is involved in the pathway of c-met and c-src to block their signal transduction becomes a novel approach for individual anti-cancer therapy. |
