| Abstract: | 【Objective】 To investigate the expression level of hTERT in serum of hepatic cancer patients and its clinical significance.【Methods】 The mRNA of hTERT in serum were detected by real-time relative quantitative PCR method in 45 patients with hepatic cancer,52 patients with virus hepatitis,29 patients with hepatic cirrhosis and 58 healthy individuals.【Results】 The expression level of hTERT in serum of hepatic cancer group was significantly higher than other groups.The relative expression level of hTERT mRNA was demonstrated to be definitely correlated with tumor size,Edmodson grade and TNM stage,while not correlated with age,gender and number of tumors.【Conclusion】 The expression level of hTERT mRNA in serum was up-regulated significantly when the hepatic cancer occurred.It may provide a novel diagnostic and research tool for hepatic cancer. |
