An assessment of the validity of the injury severity score when applied to gunshot wounds |

| Abstract: | Injury Severity Scores were calculated for the injuries of 875 patients suffering from gunshot wounds. These scores were plotted against mortality. Increasing ISS is associated with increasing mortality, but the relationship is not linear. |
