血管内皮生长因子基质金属蛋白酶-9在口腔鳞状细胞癌中的表达及意义

摘    要:
目的探讨血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和基质金属蛋白酶9(MMP-9)在口腔鳞状细胞癌(OS-CC)组织中的表达及临床意义。方法采用免疫化学Elivison两步法检测53例NSCLC组织、20例口腔正常黏膜组织中VEGF、MMP-9的表达,并对其与临床、病理特征的关系进行分析。结果 53例OSCC中VEGF、MMP-9的阳性率分别为50.9%、64.2%,和口腔正常黏膜组织相比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。OSCC中VEGF、MMP-9的表达与患者的年龄、性别、病变部位无关,与肿瘤分期、组织学分级、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05)。VEGF与MMP-9的表达呈正相关(r=0.446,P<0.01)。结论 VEGF、MMP-9在口腔鳞状细胞癌的发生、发展中起着重要作用,二者联合检测可为口腔鳞状细胞癌恶性程度和预后的判断提供有效证据。

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression of vascular epithelial growth factor(VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and its significance in oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC).Methods Expression of VEGF and MMP-9 was detected in OSCC tissue(n=53) and normal mucosa tissues(n=20) via EliVison immunohistochemical assay,and the correlation with clinical and pathological features was analyzed.Results The positive rate of VEGF and MMP-9 was 50.9% and 64.2% in 53 cases of OSCC tissues,respectively,with significant difference(P0.05) as compared with that of normal oral mucosal tissues.There was no correlation between VEGF or MMP-9 expression and age,gender and tumor involving site.In contrast,expression of VEGF and MMP-9 was correlated with tumor phase,histological stage as well as lymph node metastasis(P0.05).Also revealed was the positive correlation between expression of VEGF and MMP-9(r=0.446,P0.01).Conclusion Both VEGF and MMP-9 play an important role in the carcinogenesis and development of OSCC.Combined detection may provide valuable proofs for estimation of malignancy and prognosis of OSCC.
