喉癌组织中树突状细胞S—100蛋白的免疫组化及临床研究

IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDY AND CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF S-100 PROTEIN IN LARYNGEAL CARCINOMA

Objective To study the distribution of S 100 protein and the relationship between S 100 protein and protein and prognosis in laryngeal carcinoma.Methods S 100 protein was observed by immunohistochemical methods using anti S 100 protein antibody in 68 laryngeal carcinoma and non cancer laryngeal tissues. Results The results showed that S 100 protein positive was found 43(63.24%) in 68 laryngeal carcinoma patients. S 100 protein positive cells were interspersed among the tumor cells and in the stroma. S 100 protein were rare in the non cancer laryngeal tissues. The detection of S 100 protein was related to tumor grade and stage. The prooer the differentiation of laryngeal carcinoma, The less the number of S 100 protein positive cells. S 100 protein ngeative was more seen in advanced stages of carcinoma. The five year survival rate in patients with S 100 protein positive was significatly higher than that in patients with S 100 protein negative. Conclusion Our results indicated that the detection of S 100 protein was of value for the prognostic analysis in patients with laryngeal carcinoma.
