| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the risk factors of pulmonary embolism(PE)in patients with upper extremity deep venous thrombosis(UEDVT).Methods A retrospective review of 135 patients with UEDVT was performed from July 2014 to October 2019 in our department.The patients were followed up for 3 months to record the case of PE,the risk factors of pulmonary embolism were analyzed.Results PE occurred in 26 patients with UEDVT.Central venous thrombus and upper extremity surgery(within 2 weeks)were the risk factors for PE(P<0.05).Conclusion Central venous thrombus and supper extremity surgery are the risk factors for PE in patients with UEDVT. |
