Clinical observation of compound anti-influenza Chinese pharmaceutical preparations in the pre-hospital intervention of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Objective:To research the compound anti-influenza Chinese pharmaceutical preparations(Shufeng Jiedu Capsule)in the pre-hospital intervention of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods:Fifty patients with AECOPD who have treated previously in our department were divided into control group and research group,25 cases in each group.Patients of two groups inhaled regularly LABA+ICS.The research group were given Shufeng Jiedu Capsule as early as possible when they feel nasal obstruction,runny nose or pharynx regardless of cough,phlegm.We have observed and compared the difference of two groups on readmission rate in one year,average length of stay,blood routine,CRP,incidence of respiratory failure and utilization rate of non-invasive auxiliary ventilation.Results:The readmission rate in 1 year and average length of stay of the research group was lower than control group(P<0.05).After readmission,the indexes such as white blood cell count,CRP,incidence of respiratory failure and application time of noninvasive ventilation in the research group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compound anti-influenza Chinese pharmaceutical preparations(Shufeng Jiedu Capsule)has certain effects in the pre-hospital auxiliary intervention of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
