Overview of traditional Chinese medicine research on syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency of depression

The syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency is the core syndrome of depression.This article briefly summarized the depression of syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency from four aspects,namely,epidemiology,diagnosis,treatment and mechanism research.It points out that the research on’give priority to liver’about the syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency is rich,but the further improvement of the therapeutic effect still meets a bottleneck.The treatment of depression with syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency on’give priority to spleen’may be a new direction.It is hoped that the new direction of depression can inspire readers to study the pathological mechanism and clinical treatment of the syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency.
