Research on the distribution law of TCM location syndrome elements of AIDS and its correlation with age

Objective:To study the distribution regularity of TCM location syndrome elements in AIDS patients and its correlation with age.Methods:A total of 631 AIDS(stage I,II)patients were selected to extract disease location syndrome elements by syndrome differentiation and integral method.Statistical analysis was carried out to explore the distribution law of TCM syndrome elements in AIDS patients and the evolution law of disease location syndrome elements with the prolongation of the course of disease and the increase of age.Results:The disease location syndrome elements of AIDS patients mainly concentrated in spleen,stomach,liver,gallbladder and superficial disease location.There were differences in the half-superficies and half-interior disease location of AIDS patients of different age groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:This study suggests that there are differences in location syndrome elements in asymptomatic AIDS patients,which are related to the strength of vital qi of the patients,and the pathogen of HIV virus first invades the muscular surface of the patients,and then spreads inward.
