Successful thrombolysis in the middle cerebral artery following endovascular occlusion of a CoA aneurysm

Summary

The most serious complications following endovascular therapy of a ruptured aneurysm include vessel perforation and thromboembolism. The successful treatment of a patient with thrombosis of the left middle cerebral artery, immediately following occlusion of a giant aneurysm of anterior communicating artery (CoA), is reported.
