Abstract: | Abstract We describe a case of dorsal vertebral tuberculosis that was initially treated non-surgically. Despite apparent clinical improvement, the patient suffered sudden partial paralysis of the legs and surgery was required. Spinal decompression, transpeduncular abscess drainage and posterior vertebral stabilisation were carried out. |
