Abstract: | A rare case of involvement of the Central Nervous System characterized by brain and subsequent cerebellar metastases without abdomino-pelvic spread is reported. The patient was treated by craniotomy plus external radiation to the brain. Subsequently, Carboplatin-based chemotherapy was started when paraaortic lymph-nodes involvement has been detected. Follow-up is uneventful after clinical complete remission. Received: 17 February 1997 / Accepted: 2 June 1997 |
