Abstract: | Endometriosis is classically defined as ectopic growth of endometrial glands and stroma. Currently, histologic confirmation of laparoscopic findings is paramount for diagnosis of endometriosis and evidence is evolving suggesting that the pathogenesis of endometriosis is related to endometrial anomalies. |
