Application of EDEC Concept in Prosthesis of Dentition Defects:A Clinical Report

Objective The purpose is to clarify and popularize the concept and significance of EDEC (examine, design, execute and check), thus to provide the guide for dentition defects prosthesis and to reduce the blindness and risk as a consequence. Methods The clinical approach of EDEC was shown as in prosthesis procession in a case of defects of dentition. Results The EDEC concept could guide the clinical procession of prosthesis to a significant extent, and help to lead to an expected clinical outcome with an decreased operation blindness. Conclusion The EDEC was an usable concept in clinical approaches of dental prosthesis.
