Clinical Application of Two-loop Breast Plastic Surgery

Objective To investigate the mastoplasty for breast reconstruction by double circle incision.Methods Double-circle mastoplasty was performed to obtain desired breast shape in 11 patients with breast sagging or macromastia and to eliminate concerns of patients about mastoplasty.Resuts Ten of the 11 patients were satisfied with postoperative appearance and achieved symmetrical breast reconstruction with moderate-sized breasts and improved sagging condition.The early breast shape was less satisfactory in 1 patient due to the huge size of her breasts and excess glandular tissue excision,but was improved after 6 months of follow-up.Conclusion The mammoplasty with suspension through areolar incision for ptotic breasts has the advantages of simple design,good blood supply and suspension fixation,hidden incision,unobvious scar,normal sensation of nipple and areola,and perfect plasticity.Therefore,the two-loop breast plastic surgery is a good method for treating sagging breasts.
