The numerical value of K₀ = [η]₀/M of a sample of poly(tetrahydrofuran), which is proporational to the unperturbed dimensions, was determined in different solvents by three methods at 25°C. The resulting value of K₀ = 0.202 ml./g. was compared with the corresponding data for polyethylene, poly(ethylene oxide) and polyoxymethylene.
