气范畴在中医理论建构中的方法论意义

以气范畴为基础的整体思维、取象思维、变易思维方式决定了中医学研究人体的基本路向，促进了中医理论的建构，是中医理论体系整体现、功能观、运动观特点形成的哲学基础。但气范畴的非结构特性，导致了对于具体事物间的联系往往是给予一种泛泛的哲学性的、方向性的说明，它在保持具象性的某些特点的同时，不自觉地限制了人们对认识的深入，在一定程度上又阻碍了中医学的发展。

Category of Qi: Its Methodological Significance in Constitution of TCM Theories

The basic thinking of TCM in studying the human body is determined by holistic thinking, analogical thinking and adaptable thinking on the basis of qi category. This has promoted the constitution of TCM theories, and is the philosophical basis of holism, view of functions and view of motion in TCM theoretical system. However, the non-structural specificity of qi category results in the general philosophical and directional interpretation of the associations among concrete things. This keeps certain features of specificity, limits human deep understanding simultaneously and hinders TCM development to a certain degree.
