广西城市中老年人群超重和肥胖的流行现状研究

目的了解广西城市中老年人群超重和肥胖的流行特点,为制定全区肥胖防制策略及规划提供科学依据。方法运用多阶段分层随机抽样法,对广西城市人群7 881人进行现场问卷调查和体格检查。结果广西城市中老年人群肥胖患病率高于我国成年人的患病水平为8.62%,超重和肥胖已占到调查人群的44.64%,超重人群在职业、文化、经济分布上的差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),肥胖人群中高血压的患病危险是正常人群的3.145倍。结论广西城市中老年人群肥胖患病率已处于较高水平,应结合其流行特点制定相应的防治策略,开展肥胖的预防与控制工作。

Prevalence of Overweight and Obesity Among Middle - and Old - aged Urban Population in Guangxi

Objective To explore the prevalence of overweight and obesity in middle-aged and older-aged urban population in Guangxi,and to provide scientific bases for developing strategies and programs of prevention.Methods A total of 7,881 urban residents from Guangxi Province were enumerated using the multistage and stratified random sampling method.Questionnaire and physical exam were performed in the sampling population.Results The prevalence of obesity in middle-aged and older-aged urban population living in the Guangxi Province was 8.62%,significantly higher than that of the nationwide adults.Residents with overweight or obesity accounted for 44.64% in the studied population.Significant difference was found among those belonging to different occupations,cultural and economic status(P<0.05).Risk of hypertension in the obese population was 3.145 times higher than that of the general population.Conclusion High prevalence of obesity is presented in the middle-aged and older-aged urban population living in Guangxi Province.Proper strategies should be developed based on the data of prevalence to prevent and control obesity.
