| Abstract: | Occult hepatitis B virus infection is characterised by the presence of HBV DNA in serum or liver tissue with undetectable hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) in serum. Its existence and clinical relevance are reported on many reseaches, and the highest incidence is detected in the presence of only anti-HBc. This review focuses on some research progress of occult hepatitis B infection in all kinds of situations. |
