Abstract:Objective To research the application of conventional MR sequence,SWI sequence and DWI in the diagnosis of patients with cerebral trauma microbleeds.Methods 71 patients with cerebral trauma microbleeds who admitted to our hospital from August 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research objects.All patients underwent routine head MRI sequences(T1WI,T2WI,T2FLAIR),diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)and magnetic susceptibility weighted imaging(SWI)three days after admission.We observed the imaging manifestations of microbleeds in different scanning sequences and compared the detection rate of microbleeds in different scanning sequences.Results Most of the micro hemorrhagic foci showed patchy,strip like and low signal in T1WI sequence,slightly high signal or equal signal in T2WI and T2FLAIR sequence,and low signal or equal signal in DWI sequence.In SWI sequence,most of the micro hemorrhagic foci were dot like,patchy,circular or circular low signal,compared with conventional MR sequences such as T1WI,T2WI,T2FLAIR and DWI sequences,SWI showed more microbleeds,clearer margins and larger lesions.A total of 169 micro bleeding lesions were detected in 71 patients,78 lesions were detected by T1WI sequence,103 lesions were detected by T2WI sequence,126 lesions were detected by T2flair sequence,and 117 lesions were detected by DWI sequence.The detection rates of lesions were 46.15%,60.95%,74.56%and 69.23%,respectively.147 lesions were detected in SWI sequence,the detection rate was 86.98%,which was significantly higher than those of T1WI,T2WI,tflair and DWI sequences(P<0.05).Conclusion SWI sequence has a higher detection rate than conventional MR sequence and DWI sequence in the diagnosis of cerebral trauma microbleeds,which is of great significance for the clinical diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of patients with brain trauma microbleeds.
