Abstract:
We Investigated antitumor activity of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes(TIL) obtained from human carcinomous tissue. The results showed: 1) a large number of TIL could be obtained from tumor tissue by methods of enzymic isolation and Ficoll gradient centrifugation. The ratio of TIL and tumor cells varied in the samples; 2) after incubation of TIL with rIL-2 lymphoblasts appeared in the culture. Aggregates consisting of fast-growing cells were observed; 3) TIL from 5 lung tumor samples demonstrated significant cytotoxic activity against NK-resistant Anip targets after co-culture with rIL-2. Further investigations on other antitumor properties of TIL are being continued.
