| Abstract: | Summary The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of recombinant human erythropoietin on burn patients. The pilot study has shown that epoietin medication is harmless. As expected, it activated reticulocytogenesis. But epoietin did not reduce the need for homologous blood substitution. |
