中药现代化是对传统中医药理论的继承、完善和发展

2006年7月8-9日,本刊第四届编委会扩大会议暨学术交流座谈会在中国科学院大连化学物理研究所（简称：中科院大化所）隆重召开。会议秉承“继承、发展、创新、国际化”宗旨,共同研讨了杂志使命、发展目标和中医药现代化发展战略、前沿交叉、中药中医研究、国际化等重大问题,与会代表参观了中科院大化所组分中药组、生物分子高分辨分离分析及代谢组和药物化学组等实验室,重点了解了该所主持承担的中科院重要方向项目-“基于现代理论和技术的复方中药系统研究”所获得的重要进展,并开展了热烈的讨论和交流,彼此都感到很有收获。本文系中科院高技术局秦伟副局长的会议演讲。演讲阐述了作者自2003年布署中科院中药现代化科研工作以来的思考。全文简明扼要,人们从中可以认识和了解中科院全面、系统地开展传统中医药研究所持有指导思想与工作原则,并得到有益的启示。应广大读者要求,本刊在此刊载,以飨读者。[编者按]

Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine:an Extension of Traditional Medical Theory

Editor's remarks: An enlarged editing committee meeting was held on July 8, 2006, at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, a part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Under the theme "carrying forward, developing, innovation, and internationalization", participants discussed the future missions and development objectives of the journal, and exchanged views on a variety of topics, including development strategy of modernizing traditional Chinese medicine, interdisciplinary cooperation, directional studies, and internationalization. During the meeting, participants visited the national key labs located at the premises of the Institute, including multi-component Chinese medicine, high resolution separation/analysis and metabonomics, and medicinal chemistry. They were briefed of the major progresses achieved in "modern theory and technology based traditional Chinese compound medicine", a key project initiated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and implemented by the Multi-Component Chinese Medicine Lab. Visitors and hosts had heated discussions and exchanges. Both sides felt enlightened from view sharing. After the meeting, some participants continued their exchanges until July 11. The following is the speech delivered at the scene by QING Wei, Deputy Director of High Tech Bureau, part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The speech reflects speaker's contemplation of modernizing traditional Chinese medicine since 2003 where CAS set up the goal. One can discern CAS' intention and principles for an overall and systematic research of traditional Chinese medicine.
