| Abstract: | Objective To analyze the literature on clinical midwifery education in the Web of Science database to understand the current situation, and provide a reference for the development in China. Methods The research on the clinical midwifery education was searched in the Web of Science TM Core Collection database, and the literature found was analyzed using HistCite software. Results A total of 808 related literature were retrieved between 2008 and 2019, with the number of articles published on the rise. The journal Midwifery published the greatest number of articles and Austria had the greatest number of paper writers. The total number of published papers ranking the top ten institutions was all universities. Midwifery was of the highest frequency. Conclusion Clinical midwifery education is getting more and more attention of the international community. China can learn from other countries to promote it in China based on her own condition. |
