Abstract: | Biopersistence of man-made fibers by animal inhalation experiments was mainly reviewed. This report showed that the biopersistence and maximum tolerated dose are significantly important factors for hazard assessment for man-made fibers as well as fiber size (diameter/length), chemical compositions and surface properties. |
