Abstract: | Spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunised with KLH-theophylline conjugate were fused with a mouse myeloma cell line P3-X63-Ag8.653, and antibody-producing hybrids were identified by enzyme immunoassay. Three cell clones were obtained, each capable of producing a unique monoclonal antibody to theophylline. Using these monoclonal antibodies, an immunoassay system for theophylline was developed. |
