| Abstract: | According to textual study of name,plant morphology,place of origin and efficacy of Codonopsis lanceolata,the statements in the ancient literatures were found to be basically identical to those obtained by modern scientific research.Codonopsis lanceolata of genus of Codonopsis is regarded as the orthodox product for therapeutic use through generations. |
