红花与郁金香的本草考证

摘    要:
目的考证汉晋时期传入我国的郁金香的原植物。方法查阅中外文献的有关论述,对郁金香的产地、形态、功用,以及传入时间进行综合考证。结果《本草纲目》记载郁金香梵名茶矩摩,与番红花(音译名:撒馥兰、洎夫蓝、撒法郎)同物异名。结论郁金香应为鸢尾科植物Crocus sativus,而非百合科植物Tulipagesneriana。

Abstract:
Objectve To research into the two Chinese names of a imported aromatic herb or spice in ancient time,Fanhonghua and Yujinxiang.Methods In every way including history,location or distribution,morphological characters,and uses of saffron in literatures at home and abroad in Chinese and in English.Results Fanhonghua of Bencao Gangmu edited by Li Shizhen in sixth century is a synonym of Yujinxiang,Saffron or Kurkuma(Sanskrit name),recorded already in Buddhist and travel notes literatures from Han to Jin Dynasties.Conclusion Yujinxiang should be Crocus sativus(Iridaceae) which has been used as an herb and spice(the dried stigmas) other than Tulipa gesneriana(Liliaceae) which is just a flower for seeing.
