| Abstract: | Bone may interfere with soft tissue wound contracture by osteomyelitis or unyielding rigidity. Chronic osteomyelitis and nonhealing cavities are being successfully treated by debridement, coverage or fill by permanently pedicled flaps, and appropriate antibiotics. |
