| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the fluence of the genetic and enviromental factors on the finger print pattern and pattern coefficient in twins.Methods Genetic eqidemiologic method was used to analyse the finger print pattern of the twins.Results The whorl pattern was most common in all the finger print patterns.Next come the ulnar loop,and the arch.The radial loop was the least common.The heritability of the finger print pattern and patlern coefficient were 55 06% and 65 59% reapectively.Conclusion The finger-print pattern and pattern coefficient were in fluenced by the genetic and enviromental factors,the genetic factor playing amajor role. |
