Abstract: | A 14-year-old boy with Goodpasture's syndrome induced by anti-glomerular-basement-membrane (gmb) antibody exhibited declining renal function, in association with a progressive increase in the level of serum anti-GBM antibody. Treatment with prednisone, cyclophosphamide, and plasmapheresis was associated with rapid disappearance of the serum anti-GMB antibody and temporary stabilization of renal function. |
