Rosette formation by sensitized human erythrocytes on various heterologous macrophages

Incomplete Duffy^a and Rh_o(D)-antibodies have been shown to induce rosette formation in very high dilutions with the respective erythrocytes on macrophages.

While human erythrocytes sensitized with incomplete homologous antibodies form rosettes with human and rhesus-monkey macrophages, they do not with macrophages derived from mice, guinea-pigs and rabbits.
