Effects of Elemene Injection Combined with Chemotherapy and Targeted Drugs on the Quality of Life and Immune Function in Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of elemene injection combined with chemotherapy and targeted drugs on patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer,and to analyze the impact of elemene injection on the quality of life and immune function of patients.Methods From April 2013 to December 2018,72 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer admitted to the Department of Oncology,Anhui Chest Hospital were enrolled in the study.They wererandomly divided into control group and observation group with 36 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional chemotherapy and targeted drugs,and the observation group was treated with elemene injection on this basis.The clinical efficacy,expected survival time,adverse symptoms and immunity of the two groups were evaluated.The disease function and quality of life were analyzed.Results The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The objective response rate(ORR)(77.78%)of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(52.78%);the expected survival time of the treatment group exceeded 12 Month accounted for 80.55%,more than 24 months accounted for 47.22%,which was significantly higher than the control group(58.33%and 22.22%)(P<0.05);the incidence of bone marrow suppression and nausea and vomiting in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment,the levels of CD3,CD4,and CD4/CD8 in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the CD8 levels were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the Lung Cancer Symptom Scale(LCSS)of the treatment group was different The item scores were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Elemene injection combined with chemotherapy and targeted drugs has a definite effect on advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients.It can effectively improve the ORR of patients,prolong the survival period of patients,increase the immune function of patients,and improve the quality of life of patients.
