正Alzheimer 's disease(AD) has a multifactorial etiology that has eluded scientists and clinicians for decades. This incomplete understanding of the causal factors likely contributes to the dearth of effective therapeutics available to treat this growing pandemic. Cholinesterase inhibitors such as galantamine, rivastigmine and donepezil are considered frontline treatments but these medications merely treat some of the symptoms associated with AD,
