The Research Progress of Bioactive Peptide Pharmacological Activity

With the improvement of people＇s living standard, and accompanied with modern civilization various kind of rich man＇s diseases such as hypertension, high blood .lipid, obesity and cancer have drawn more and more people ＇ attention. People＇s consumption ideas has been changed these days. They did not satisfied with eating gluttonously only but started to pursuit for controlling the diseases and therapy. Bioactive peptides, which have broad sources, are becoming a focus of attention in many countries recently. Large number of studies have shown that bioactive peptides are natural resource banki of filtrating drugs and possess many kind of pharmacological activities, such as neural, hormonal and immunal modulation, antithrombotic, antihypertensive, anticholesterol, antibacteria and antiviruses, and antieancer effects. This article reviews the research progress of bioactive peptide pharmacological activity.
