托吡酯单药治疗癫痫31例

目的：观察托吡酯（TPM）单药治疗癫痫的效果及安全性。方法：31例患者入组，TPM目标维持剂量100mg，基础期4周，记录痫发作次数；加药期4－8周；稳定期12周，坚持服用维持剂量，记录发作次数及不良反应。结果：30例患者癫痫总有效率为86．6％，其中显效73．3％，无效占13．4％。治疗各种类型的癫痫有效率均＞75％。不良反应发生率60％，多数较轻微且短暂。结论：TPM单治癫痫疗效明显，且较为安全。

Clinical observationof the efficacy of topiramate monotherapy in treatment of 31 cases of epilepsy

Objective:To observe the efficacy of topiram ate monotherapy in treatment of 31 cases of epilepsy.Methods:31 pa tients were enrolled into the study and the seizure rate and side effects were r ecorded during the study.The targeted dosage was 100mg topiramate(TPM).There wer e 3 periods to reach the goal dosage:the baseline period(4 weeks) to observe th e seizure rate;titrated period (4～8 weeks) to increase dose to the goal dos age; dose maintain period(12 weeks).Results:The total effective rate of this study is 86.6% including significant effective rate of 73.3% and 13.4% of ineffective and pejorative cases.The reduction in seizure rate was more than 75% for all the types of seizures and incidence of side effect was 60% but most of them were mild and tranisient.Conclusion:TPM is an effective and s afe agent for treatment of epilepsy.
