Clinical efficacy of integrated traditional and western treatment in treating rheumatoid arthritis and its effection on IL-

Objective To observe the clinical effection of the 99technetium-methylene diphosphonate injection(99Tcm-MDP) combined SimiaoYongan soup in treating rheumatoid arthritis and its effection on the content of interleukin-1(IL-1) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in peripheral serum.Methods 80 patients with active RA were randomly divided into two groups,40 patients in each group,The control group were treated with methotrexate,while the treatment group were based on the combined MDP and SimiaoYongAn soup treatment.The clinical efficacy and IL-1 and TNF-α changes of the two groups before and after treatment were observed.Results The overall effect of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,and IL-1 and TNF-α also significantly better improvement in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of MDP combined with SimiaoYongan Decoction has definite effect and fewer adverse reactions,and can significantly reduce the expression of IL-1 and TNF-α in peripheral serum.This method is worthy of further promotion.
