| Abstract: | A 73-year-old female died of adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and multiple organ system failure (MOSF) after a routine cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis. An autopsy revealed disseminated tuberculosis with a tuberculous abscess of the pancreas. |
