| Abstract: | Sugammadex is the first selective relaxant binding agent andreverses rocuronium-induced neuromuscular block. A case is reportedin which a patient accidentally received a high dose of sugammadex(40 mg kg1) to reverse a rocuronium-induced (1.2 mg kg1)profound neuromuscular block. A fast and efficient recoveryfrom profound neuromuscular block was achieved and no adverseevents or other safety concerns were reported. |
