骨固定术的ICD-9-CM-3分类辨析

目的探讨骨固定术准确的ICD-9-CM-3编码。方法通过学习骨固定术的相关文献,仔细阅读病案,按照分类原则进行ICD-9-CM-3编码。结果不伴有骨折复位的骨内固定术的编码为78.5、外固定术的编码为93.4和93.5;伴有骨折复位的骨固定术的编码为79.1和79.3中;使用骨外固定装置的编码为78.1和84.7。结论编码员不但要掌握ICD编码知识,还要学习相关的医学基础知识和仔细阅读病案,才能做到准确编码。

Analysis on Classification of ICD-9-CM-3 in Bone Fixation

Objective To investigate the accurate ICD-9-CM-3 codes of bone fixation.Methods Through reviewing medical literatures and carefully reading medical records,the ICD-9-CM-3 codes were conducted according to the principles of International Classification of Disease.Results The Codes for bone fixation without fracture reduction were 78.5（internal fixation）,93.4 and 93.5（external fixation）,for bone fixation with fracture reduction were 79.1 and 79.3,with bone fixation using external fixation devices of 78.1 and 84.7.Conclusion Coders should not only master the professional skills of the International Classification of Disease,but also improve basic medical knowledge and read medical records,and then correcting codes can be realized.
