Plasma Fibronectin in Essential Hypertension , Stroke and Normal subjects

Plasma fibronectin was determined in 31 normal adults and in50 pqtitents lnly with essentiat ht pertension(EH), 15patients with EH and cerebral haemorrhage, and the other 11 with EH and cerebral thrombosis. The mean values of the protein in EH and EH+cerebral thrombosis were significant higher than that in nomal controls and EF+cerebral haemorrhage (P<0.001,0.02 respec tively). Fibronectin levels in EH patients did not iffer tfrom that in EH+cerebral thrombosis. There were 6 patiens im EH+cerebral haemorrhage with very low plasma fibronectin. Its almostly could not be measrued. four of the patients died in 48 hours.
