摘    要:
促红细胞生成素(erythropoietin,EPO)是一种糖蛋白激素,是哺乳动物调节红细胞生成所必需的体液性生长因子。新近研究表明EPO具有神经保护和修复功能,其发挥脑保护效应有两条路径:即神经保护和血管新生。该文主要综述了EPO的血管新生效应和机制:EPO能够通过血脑屏障(BBB);EPO促进脑血管新生,效应与VEGF相当,但不增加BBB通透性;EPO动员骨髓内皮祖细胞到外周循环,促进内皮细胞增殖、迁移和管样结构形成,促进新生血管成熟为功能血管;EPO分泌具有可调控性。

Abstract:
Erythropoietin,hormone produced by the kidney,plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells by the bone marrow.However,recent studies indicate that EPO also has neuroprotective and repair functions of the brain;it has two paths:nerve protection and angiogenesis.In this paper,pro-angiogenesis effects and its mechanisms of EPO are reviewed:EPO can cross blood-brain barrier(BBB);EPO and VEGF exhibit equal angiogenic potential,but prevents the increase in blood-brain barrier permeability induced by VEGF;EPO can promote endothelial progenitor from marrow to peripheral circulation and enhence endothelial cell proliferation,migration and blood vessel formation and maturation;EPO secretion can be induced.
