Analysis on Reasonable Application of Oral Proton Pump Inhibitors

The status of oral proton pump inhibitors（PPIs） in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases has become increasingly important,however,there are several problems during the use,especially in the long-term use and combination process,related studies indicated that the use of these drugs may increase fractures,cardiovascular diseases and risk of infection.Great caution should be attached to the indications and characteristics of different PPIs,as well as their interactions with other drugs if used in combination and the adverse effects in their long term use,to achieve rational use.
