Visual information store durations for sine-wave gratings were measured in normal and disabled readers. At low spatial frequencies, disabled readers have significantly longer store durations; at medium spatial frequencies, the two groups do not differ; and at high spatial frequencies, disabled readers have shorter store durations. |
