妊娠期阴道、前庭及小阴唇的细胞学

作者对222例妊娠8～42周孕妇的阴道、前庭及小阴唇作细胞涂片检查,并以细胞的成熟指数及嗜伊红细胞指数为指标进行比较,结果差异无显著性(P>0.05)。妊娠早期,涂片呈黄体期图象,妊娠21～36周以中层细胞为主,妊娠晚期,雌激素水平呈轻度影响,细胞单个排列,核致密。

THE CYTOLOGY OF VAGINA,VESTIBULE AND LABIA MINORA DURING PREGNANCY

During the gestational period largeamounts of progesterone and oestrogenare produced, first by the corpus luteumof pregnancy and than by the placenta.The vagina epithelium under theinfluence of these hormones shows somechanges. In early pregnancy, cytologicalpattern is similar to that at the corpusluteum stage. During the 21-36 weeksof gestation, intermediate cells appear to bethe main picture. In late pregnancy withmild oestrogen effect, the cells on smearspread separately, and within these cellspyknotic nuclei are shown. In this paper, maturation index and eosinophilic indexwere studied in 222 cases. Cytologicalsmears of vagina, vestibule and labiaminora were taken during the 8-42 weeksof gestation. Among these 3 sites nosig-nificant difference was found. The resultsrevealed: Smear of vagina might bereplaced by smear of vestibule or labiaminora in this kind of examination. Thisis a simple method and the chance of in-fection caused by the examination duringthe gestational period is reduced.
