CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF 29 CASES OF BREA5T TUBERCULOSIS

Twenty-nine cases of tuberculosis of the breast had been treated in our hospital sinceAugust l970.The age ranged from 20 to 63(mean 35.6)years,Breast mass is the main symptomin clinical diagnosis. Two cases were diagnosed by means of fine niddle puncture and treated withantituberculotic therapy. 27 cases were operated on and all were made diagnoses hy means ofpathological examinations.16 cases were performed local mass excision;4 lobectomy;5 resectionof sinus tract;l simple mastectomy;l had radical mastectomy with bilateral ovariectomy by mis-take. All were treated with antituberculotic therapy for 9 to l8 months. One year's follow-upshows that in which without of them occurs relapse.
