Abstract:
Two patients developed primary medullary hemorrhages. Both patients were normotensive. They were both receiving oral anticoagulation but the coagulation studies were not excessively prolonged at the time that the hemorrhage occurred. The diagnosis of primary medullary hemorrhage was established by CT findings. Both patients showed CI resolution of the hemorrhage and this correlated with good clinical outcome.
