30例口腔颌面部恶性肿瘤端粒长度变化的研究

目的　探讨口腔颌面部恶性肿瘤组织端粒长度的变化。方法　采用DNASouthern杂交法检测 30例口腔颌面部恶性肿瘤组织及相应正常组织的平均端粒长度 ,并加以比较。结果　 30例恶性钟瘤组织中有 2 5例的平均端粒长度比相应正常组织要短 ,3例无明显差异 ,另 2例轻度延长。复发肿瘤的平均端粒长度较正常组织的缩短值要大于原发肿瘤 (P <0 .0 5 )。肿瘤组织较正常组织端粒长度的变化值与有无淋巴结转移无关 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论　大部分口腔颌面部恶性肿瘤的端粒长度较相应正常组织缩短 ,且复发肿瘤的端粒长度较原发肿瘤进一步缩短。

STUDY ON THE TELOMERE LENGTH ALTERATION OF 30 CASES OF ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL MALIGNANT TUMORS

Objective To investigate the alterations of telomere length in oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors. Methods The mean telomere length of 30 oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors and their corresponding normal tissues was detected by DNA southern blot hybridizaiton. Results Shortening of the telomere length was observed in 25 / 30 tumors, 2 tumors showed slighted elongated telomere repeats, whereas the telomere appeared unchanged in 3 cases. The mean telomere length of recurrent tumors was showed shorter than that of primary ones (P<0.05). The telomere length of tumors had no related with metastasis (P<0.05). Conclusion The majority of oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors had a shorter telomere than the corresponding normal tissues, and the telomere length of tumors shortened further during recurrence.
